Everyone agreed a new process for funding NGOs is needed, which I think means competitive bidding for local government tax dollar funding. The EatLafayette campaign is underway. If you are like me, I did not know exactly what this about when I first saw the logos and heard about it. In a nutshell, for the past 5 years, local restaurants have been offering special deals and special menu items for patrons during the summer. The 2009 campaign is from June 22 to Aug. 15.
