Ironic story appeared in the papers a few days ago about the Mayor of new Orleans. Turns out that Mayor of new Orleans Ray Nagin is being Quarantined in China for fear that he might have swine flu.   You could take a glass half empty approach and wonder what the hell Mayor Nagin doing out of the city of new Orleans which is more messed up than Michael Jackson being a scout master.  Going into town with my dad as a youngster there were three rows of ramshackle wooden buildings just on the edge of town. When I was first old enough to notice them, they were vacant, sagging and weathered.   When I asked my dad what they were he told me they had been barracks for WPA workers.
