I think that LSU is going to be very loaded and solid at the quarterback position despite the fact they are real young at that position. My only real concern for LSU has to be at the depth at the wide receiver position. If Shepard is good as advertised, Lee may be going back to the third team. I think that the coaches need to ride this one out with Jordan Jefferson at the reigns.
It is also going to be very interesting to see how Florida and Ole Miss are going to shape up.
I think two words can describe the LSU Tigers Football team “Raw Talent”. At QB Jefferson will probably make the start as a true sophomore. But look for Russel Shepard to get some time as a true freshmen. He was ranked as the best athlete by ESPN. No proven talent at running back or wide receiver will hurt us this year… But, the defense should be as powerful as ever with Chad Jones and Tahj Jones and a ton of depth on the DL and DB positions. I'm predicting we go 10-2 this year with loses with against Florida and against Ole Miss. But in 2011 with more experience at the WR and RB positions and a veteran QB the Tigers a poised for a championship run.
LSU has the most talent in the west, but the question mark once again will be the play of the quarterback. This year Jordan Jefferson is expected to take the snaps. If he plays good, LSU as a whole will play good. If Jefferson is a flog, well, there's always next year.
